Room tobreathe, and away back to each other.
If you keep having the same fight in different outfits, you're not broken and it isn't too late. I help couples and individuals slow it down, see the pattern underneath, and find their way back to feeling like they're on the same team.

You can see the loop. You just can't get out of it from the inside.
You used to be close. Lately it runs more like a household than a relationship.
Underneath the fight about the dishes is usually the same quiet question: are we still on the same team?
The content changes. The pattern doesn't. One partner pushes to talk, the other needs space, and the harder one chases, the further the other pulls away. You end up fighting the pattern instead of the problem, until you're both exhausted and starting to wonder if this is just how it is now.
It isn't. When the loop finally becomes visible, recognition tends to arrive before relief does. From there it gets easier, in a way you can feel in the room and at home.
Warm and relational, but never vent-and-listen-forever.
You'll leave the first session with something, an insight, some language, or a way to handle the next wave a little better. Here's where most people begin.
Couples Therapy
For partners deep in the same loop who want a way out. We slow the fight down, find what's underneath it, and rebuild the sense that you're facing life together, not across from each other.
Explore couples work →Intimacy
Mismatched desire, feeling more like roommates, or not knowing how to start the conversation at all. A genuinely judgement-free place to talk about what most couples quietly avoid.
Explore intimacy work →Individual Therapy
Attachment-focused work for the patterns that keep circling back, even the ones you've talked about a hundred times. We figure out the why, so it stops quietly running the show.
Explore individual work →Emotion Regulation & DBT
For when everything feels like too much and every small thing reads as a threat. Deep, unrushed, non-judgemental work, especially for people who've felt written off before.
Explore this work →Part getting to know you, part detective work.
I want to understand how you've been doing, where you feel stuck, and what you've already tried, so we don't redo what didn't work. You won't sit through an interview and leave wondering what you got out of it.
- I map the pattern for you, so you stop finding fault in yourself or each other and start seeing the loop instead.
- I interrupt, kindly. If you slip into the same fight, I'll step in so you actually feel heard by each other, maybe for the first time in a while.
- I'm not rattled by intensity. Conflict, big emotion, hard topics, sex, none of it fazes me. I've seen it, and it makes sense.
- You leave with something to hold onto every time, an insight, a bit of language, or one small thing to try before next week.

Thirteen years in, and this is the work I never want to stop doing.
I came to private practice the long way, healthcare counsellor, supervisor, team lead, and Executive Director of the Social Work Association of Alberta. I've led people and I've sat with them in their hardest moments, and I know the difference experience makes when a conversation gets intense.
I'm a compassionate straight shooter. I speak like I'm talking to a friend, my dog Frankie and cat Luka wander through sessions, and you can show up in your pajamas. What you'll also get is depth, someone who can hold complexity and tell you the truth, gently.
